Winding Engine Driver Permanent

Hire Resolve's Client is currently seeking a skilled Winding Engine Driver for their client. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining winding engines used in mining operations.

As a Winding Engine Driver, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient transportation of workers and materials in underground mines. You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, operate the winding engine according to safety protocols and regulations, and ensure the smooth operation of the hoisting system.

Responsibilities:

• Operate winding engines to transport workers and materials in underground mines
• Monitor gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure the safe operation of the hoisting system
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on the winding engine
• Communicate effectively with other workers and supervisors

Requirements

• Relevant certification or license as a Winding Engine Driver
• Proven experience as a Winding Engine Driver, preferably in the mining industry
• Knowledge of hoisting system operations and safety procedures
• Ability to interpret gauges, dials, and indicators
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license

Benefits

Salary: R400k - R500k
