An established company providing services to the food processing industry is looking for an exceptional Sales Executive fluent in Portuguese to join their Gauteng Team. Must have previous experience in Sales within the Food Industry in Africa.

Job Specification

• Generate and qualify leads
• Source and develop client referrals
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies
• Schedule sales activity
• Develop and maintain a customer database
• Make sales calls to new and existing clients
• Prepare and deliver presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• Negotiate with and present professional sales proposals to clients
• Conduct product training
• Plan and participate in sales and marketing events
• Follow up on sales activity
• Perform quality checks on product and service delivery
• Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports for management
• Conduct market research and surveys
• Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
• Managing relationships with key accounts
• Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitor’s product development
• Have full technical knowledge of all products and educate and train both clients and staff

Minimum Requirements

• Driver’s License
• Be willing and able to travel into Africa
• Previous sales experience of 3-5 years minimum
• Matric qualification with tertiary qualification preferred
• Fluent in Portuguese would be hugely beneficial
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications (MS Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Geographic familiarity within Gauteng and into Africa
