Position for Quantitative Analyst

This company focuses on management consulting and is essentially looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic consultant to help dominate the market. You will form part of the ESG team and work on projects/ initiatives related to:
 
o Integration of ESG in strategy and bank steering
o Climate Risk Stress Testing and ICAAP integration
o Calculation of emissions (PCAF)
o Development of Decarbonization targets (SBTi / PACTA)
o Preparation of regulatory disclosure and reporting (TCFD reports, Sustainability reports)

Education:

• Post-graduate Risk, Finance or Quantitative qualification, supplemented with professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, FRM, PRMIA, FIA/FASSA, CA(SA)), with a strong analytical foundation.
• Candidates with additional qualifications in sustainability such as the GARP SCR certificate would be preferred

 Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 3+ years of experience in banking and financial services
• Ideally, knowledge of current regulatory requirements relating to ESG (in particular ECB Guide on Climate and Environmental Risk, SA (EU)-Taxonomy, NFRD/CSRD, EBA guideline on Pillar 3 reporting) as well as other frameworks (TCFD, Sustainable Bond Principles)
