Position for Draughtsman Cad Sugar Industry/heavy Industry
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Compile drawings and ensure the effective operation of the Drawing Office.
Communicate requirements of engineering drawings with management and present drawing proposals for approval.
Acquires technical data from engineering supply agencies as part of data collection.
Prepares and control drawing office budget.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Diploma / B Tech / Degree Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Technical drawing knowledge and experience.
CAD competency is a pre requisite.
Conversant with OHS Act and Building Regulation Act.
At least 5 years’ experience as a general engineering draughtsman in a heavy industry.
Heavy Mechanical Engineering trade experience will be an added advantage.
Must be conversant with drawings associated with sugar mill roll settings.
Must be able to manage small projects
