The main purpose of the job
Managing patient care and recovery. The candidate will work to help patients who have suffered injuries, from accidents or illnesses, assess patient's condition, take vitals and report back to the Matron, so they can assess you more thoroughly.
Education and experience required:
Registered Professional Nurse with SANC is essential.
Valid Nursing Council Receipt is essential
Compliance with the SANC Scope of Practice for a Registered Nurse and all other applicable Health Care.
Postgraduate qualification would be an added advantage.
Knowledge Skills and Competencies required:
Overseeing patient care
Reviewing and evaluating patient progress
Implementing patient care programmes
Working in community outreach programmes
Cleaning wounds and cuts.
Key areas of responsibilities:
Assumes responsibility for own personal and professional development
Assumes responsibility for maintaining competence in CPR.
Must be available and willing to work extra shifts and overtime, night shift, weekends and public holidays according to the needs of the company.
