Our client in the mining industry is looking for a seasoned, self-driven and disciplined professional that is suitably qualified and experienced for the position of Superintendent Hygiene. The position is based near Kathu in the Northern Cape.

The following experience is required:
• Minimum of five (5) years Hygiene Management experience (Essential)
• Minimum of two (2) years operational Hygiene Management experience in Mining environment (Essential)
• Minimum of two (2) years operational Integrated Risk Management System experience (Recommended)
• (Total of eight (8) years’ experience)

The Following Qualifications are essential:

• Grade 12 (Essential)
• Certificate in Mine Environmental Control or Intermediate certificate Mine Environmental Control and registered as a Hygienist with SAIOH (Essential)
• Degree in Occupational Health / Environmental Health (Essential)
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies required:

• Management Skills
• Integrated Management System knowledge
• Computer literacy.
• Analytical skills
• Negotiation
• Report Writing Skills.
• Strategic Thinking
• Valid Code 8 License
• Medically fit for duty.
