Job Summary
Position for Tax Manager
Job Description
Short Summary of the purpose of the role:

Advise staff and clients on tax related issues. Research tax information, train staff on tax related matters, process tax queries, liaise with SARS and clients. To manage the flow of work and ensure quality delivery of work outputs of tax staff in relation to audits, income tax returns, provisional tax returns, IT14SD’s, Tax Ombud complaints, objections, appeals and Tax Exemption applications. Tax consulting on various tax related matters to clients and partners.

Academic Qualifications Required:

· Grade 12 with Accounting as a subject
· Tax or other relevant qualification.
· Experience in a tax environment.
· Registered Tax Practitioner.

· Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook express)
· GreatSoft
· SARS E-Filing
· Working knowledge of Income Tax Act and Tax Administration Act.
· Working knowledge of the SARS dispute resolution process.
