Position for Senior Data Scientist

Job Description:
As a Senior Data Scientist, your primary objective will be to utilize your expertise in data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning to understand and analyze complex phenomena. You will play a vital role in providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making, with a particular focus on credit risk management. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping data-driven strategies and optimizing business outcomes.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Sciences, Information Studies, or a related field
• Postgraduate qualification preferred

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum of three years' experience in data and analytics, with a focus on risk management, preferably credit risk
• Strong proficiency in Python model development and machine learning techniques
• Experience and knowledge of structured and unstructured Query languages
• Expertise in modeling complex business problems and delivering data-driven insights
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, technology specialists, and data analysts
• Ability to utilize intelligent automation and predictive modeling to develop optimal credit strategies
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, as well as big data technologies like Hadoop, will be advantageous
