Description
DP & JC Goosen Farm is an established farming enterprise that cultivates quality stone fruit, pome fruit and vegetables in the Ceres district. There currently is an exciting opportunity available for a Fruit Production Manager at the Jagerskraal Farm in Prince Alfred Hamlet.
The incumbent will form part of the management team that reports directly to the Director-Production and will be responsible for managing a unit that consists of 70ha stone – and 30ha pome fruit. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing management practices and take ownership of the full production process of the units.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the cultivation of stone fruit and in the management of a fruit production unit.
Computer literate.
A suitable tertiary qualification will strengthen your application.
A market related remuneration package, that includes housing, is being offered in exchange for your knowledge and enthusiasm.
