Position for Millwright
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
 PLC Experience – Siemens.
ï‚· Good understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.
ï‚· Good understanding of position encoders for setup.
ï‚· Knowledge of Siemens touch and KISTLER controls.
ï‚· Installation of machinery and equipment.
ï‚· Knowledge of motor control and drives.
 Fault finding on CNC machines – mechanical and electrical.
ï‚· Replacement of balls screws, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders etc. on CNC machines.
ï‚· Programming and setup of laser marking machines.
ï‚· Knowledge of compressors.
ï‚· Must be able to perform minor welding tasks
 Fault finding/programme Siemens S7 PLC’s.
ï‚· Routine and scheduled inspections of equipment and performing allocated tasks during production change overs.
ï‚· Maintain and monitor process security system as per production schedule.
ï‚· Ensuring that work is performed in accordance with relevant safe working procedures.
ï‚· Determine and set zero points on assembly equipment.
ï‚· Maintain machine downtime to an acceptable level.
ï‚· Ensure that strategic spares are kept.
ï‚· Must be available for after hour concerns via phone and occasional callouts.
ï‚· Required to complete tasks/breakdowns after shift.
Desired Experience & Qualification
ï‚· Millwright trade test: Mechanical and Electrical.
 N6 qualification with 3 – 5 years’ practical experience.
