Matric and appropriate Diploma. (Milling / Bakery Industry).
Qualified wheat miller with GMF trade test
Acknowledgement of fumigation on Grain insects
At least 5 years experience in wheat and milling in a Supervisory capacity.
Swiss milling school qualification will be an advantage.
Orientation of detail
Strong negotiating skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross functional team.
Ability to work under pressure.
Plan raw material requirements
Plan gristing of wheat to assure best quality of flour at all times.
Assure that all quality specifications are met and maintained at all times.
Plan and assure that mill cleaning fumigation, finished product bins and conditioning bins are cleaned according to schedule.
Plan mill maintenance schedule and assure that maintenance is done at intervals as agreed with Plant Manager and Maintenance Coordinator
Attend production meetings and assure product requirements are met at all times.
Do a daily, weekly and monthly stock reconciliation and assure that reconciliation are correct
Assure that milling gains and extractions of milled products are achieved.
Meet all quality standards and improve continuously.
Compile budgets and assure that expenses versus budget are met.
Arrange training for subordinates and assure that training requirements are met to improve workforce skills.
