Key Skills / Requirements

Sales/ Enrolments

  • Devise and action appropriate activities to generate and/or the conversion of sales leads
  • In conjunction with the Sales & Enrolment Manager, analyse reports from digital campaigns and implement appropriate measures to ensure enrolment targets are achieved
  • Assist with the induction of new learners (including the co-ordination of the induction programme, feedback provided to Executive Head and/or Phase Head, (brand integrity maintained throughout)
  • Proactive management of enrolments (applications reviewed and approved, co-ordination of interviews in terms of school requirements, feedback provided to applicants within the required timelines)
  • Communication with stakeholders actioned daily and managed on an on-going basis

 Marketing

  • Together with the Executive Head and/or School Bursar, management of the school’s marketing budget
  • Competent management of all school events and marketing projects (within budget and timeline)
  • Deployment of marketing materials and ensuring that a consistent approach is maintained and that the correct and relevant materials are used
  • Brand management (including the correct use of the school CI)
  • Support marketing initiatives (including securing PR and local media relations maintained and/or built)
  • Management of the school’s online presence: social media monitoring; website content maintenance and updates in line with plans approved by Media & Marketing Manager

Communication

  • Writing basic press releases for local media and reports or informational articles for internal School publications
  • To keep abreast of changes within the community and build and maintain an excellent working relationship with local community stakeholders and influencers
  • Ability to write basic reports and marketing plans with attention to detail with regards to spelling/grammar in written reports and presentations

 Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, and well developed written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Have an energetic, outgoing and friendly disposition and is presentable and professional in your interactions at all levels.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and the ability to function under pressure.
  • Strong organising skills and a customer service orientation.
