Position for Manager
Job Description
Duties (will include but not limited to):
To lead and inspire the team to source and deliver products that exceeds customer expectations of quality, innovation, value and sustainability
Protect and enhance brand integrity through aggressively driving quality management processes, product innovation, safety, and code of conduct within the group.
Identify strategic product and supplier initiatives to support Group strategies (e.g. speed and agility, fashion and value)
Aggressively drive value optimisation initiatives and competitor price parity across the group, enabled through effective integration with internal/external stakeholders.
Develop seasonal and longer term supplier strategies to target growth potential, consolidation opportunities and decline management within the supply base (supplier capacity reservation.
Competencies:
Relevant degree in BSc/Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry.
8 - 10 years' experience in the Beauty .manufacturing/product development industry
Understanding of the International and South African Beauty industry.
Buying /Sourcing or technical (local and international) experience in retail
Ability to formulate strategies
Analytical and interpretative ability
Assertiveness and influencing ability
Ability to drive continuous improvement through innovation.
Demonstrates the ability to anticipate ,meet and exceed customer needs.
