Job Summary
Position for Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Duties:
-Conduct routine maintenance checks of plant, equipment and machinery as per DMS
-Attend to breakdowns timeously
-Ensure that workshop and toolbox is clean and tidy at all times.
-Proactively inform Lead Tech when stock is running low
-Maintenance tech delivers high standards of cleanliness and reliability of production machinery and factory facilities.
-Maintain and update maintenance system records on DMS from time to time when needed to do so
-Issuing of permit to work for contractors when requested to do so
-Ensure contract compliance with company HSE rules and policies.
-Continually work to enable the site to achieve key objectives of safety, quality and service
-Perform maintenance related administrative duties as required.
-Co-ordinate external maintenance services by contractors.
-Conduct Health and Safety functions
-Coordinate contractors on site.
-Need to be familiar CMMS Systems
-Swift reaction to breakdowns.
-Electrical and pneumatic problem solving
Requirements:
-Qualified Artisan: Millwright
-NQF 5.
Experience:
-Electrical Trade/wiring qualification
-PLC Programing/Electronics.
-Basic welding (Argon Gas)
