Pharmaceutical company based in PAARL WESTERN CAPE is looking for an experienced LABORATORY SUPERVISOR to join this dynamic organisation
Description
The ideal candidate :
CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M.Sc/B.Sc/ND/BTech (Chemistry or related). >5 y advanced and hands on QC Lab experience (Gas Chromatography (GC), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), UV-Vis Spectrophotometry, Infrared Spectrophotometry, and Atomic Absorption (AA).
Minimum 3 - 5 years of lab management experience
MUST HAVE: QC, GMP, GLP, MCC legislation experience. (preferably in Pharmaceutical QC Lab)
Experience with complimentary medicines, Botanicals.
Knowledge of CAMs, homeopathic and herbal medicines an advantage .
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail .
Ability to initiate, perform and complete reports in a timely manner .
Computer literate with good Numeracy skills
Knowledge of the scientific method, chemical products, test procedures and composition of raw materials.
Own transport
Job purpose:
Manage the Laboratory. Oversee laboratory sampling, plating and data entry. Provide results to requested team members.
Oversee the implementation and practice of laboratory programs and Food Safety and Quality procedures.
The lab is well established in the Complimentary and Alternate Medicines manufacturing sector in South Africa (based in Paarl). Email ***email***
