Job Summary
Position for Junior Planner / Allocator
Job Description
· Plan a balanced assortment in line with overall sales plan and ensure that criteria is considered
· Delivering Operational excellence including knowledge of planning tools, their dependencies and associated systems, being accurate, communicating well and an understanding of KPI's and resulting improvements.
· Monitor product performance and emerging trends and take appropriate action in order to maximize sales.
· Minimize markdowns and ensure correct stock allocation to stores.
· Analyse and evaluate key performance indicators

· Conduct financial planning and projections using Cube (BI tool) not planning tool
· Analyse and evaluate assortment forecast information, ensuring that assortment forecasts are in line with the strategic intent of the Chain
· Monitor and analyse competitor activities and consumer demands, initiate and implement appropriate actions to reduce or increase (turn on or turn off)
· Set, review and reconcile periodic demand plans including assortments, flow, drops, stock-keeping unit productivity and allocations to maximize revenues and minimize closeout inventory (Stock Turns)
· Promote good relationship with the suppliers. ***email***
