Position for Hvac Service Technician
Job Description
HVAC Service Technician available for our client in the Industrial Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) industry, position is based in Brackenfell, Cape Town. The salary is R 20 000 – R 25 000 per month CTC.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Must have matric .
• Must have previous work experience as an HVAC Service Technician .
• Must have previous experience in commissioning / servicing/ repairing of industrial HVAC systems.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence
• Must have previous experience in installing HVAC equipment and control instruments .
• Must have experience commissioning and fault finding of electrical and electronic control systems
• Must be neat and presentable .
Specialising in:
• Commissioning /servicing/repairing of industrial HVAC systems, which include chilled & hot water as well as refrigerant systems.
• Installation of HVAC Equipment and control instruments.
• Balancing of air and water circulation systems as used in HVAC systems.
• Commissioning and fault finding of electrical and electronic control systems.
• Ensuring that service vehicle(s) are neat and clean, inside and outside.
• Other work duties include submitting work reports, time keeping, and compiling spares lists.
• Maintaining all service tools in a good/safe working condition.
• Maintaining good housekeeping in service workshop.
