Handyman / Caretaker Permanent

HANDYMAN/CARETAKER - EAST LONDON – Our client in the Property Industry is looking to appoint a Handyman and Caretaker. The Caretaker role will also be basic repairs and more grounds-based ie: simple gardening etc.

Requirements:

Valid Code 08 Drivers license and own transport

Must be skilled in basic maintenance ie: fixing doors, cupboards and basic carpentry, installing plugs, basic electrical, painting, general maintenance work

Ability to follow instructions and keep all job cards in order

Job stability is crucial – no job hopping

Behavioural Competency

Ability to work independently inside and outside with power tools etc.

Reliable, honest and trustworthy

Strong communication skills in English

Must be hands on operationally

Of sober habits

Salary: up to R9,000 (depending on experience)
