Position for Granite / Stone Fabricator
Job Description
Drasil Projects, based in Cape Town is a newly formed stone fabrication company. We are looking for an all rounder, skilled in the fabrication and installation of granite / quartz / engineered stone countertops.
You will be responsible for measuring and creating templates to customer specifications; cutting/polishing at our factory and the timely installation of countertops at various sites.
Duties will include:
Measuring and creating templates for cutting
Cutting and polishing granite, quartz, marble and other stone surfaces.
Repairing finishes on-site
Installing countertops to customer specifications, drilling holes for fixtures as necessary
Attaching/installing top and under mount sinks.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
5 + years of general experience in the stone fabrication business (must include templating, cutting and polishing)
Valid Code 8 (EB) SA driver’s license
Competencies Required
Trustworthy
Ability to work independently.
Excellent customer service skills
Good time keeping and time management skills
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
