Position for Electrician
Job Description
Duties:
Install, repair and maintain plant equipment through the provision of electrical services in accordance with applicable legislative and company standards.
Inform Engineering Services Coordinator in advance of material required to perform tasks.
Instruct assistant personnel in proper use of all equipment and give clear instructions
Ensure that all plant equipment is maintained in good order and that documentation is competed timeously and accurately.
Assist with lubrication
Inform the coordinator timeously of any problems that must be resolved.
Perform any reasonable task relating to general maintenance including but not limited to: painting washing machine maintenance and other general duties.
Mark, measure and connect in accordance with SABS wiring skills.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
N3 Electrical Engineering qualification.
Trade Tested Electrician with PLC, Siemens & Robotic experience.
Able to read and interpret electrical drawings
Experience in automotive component industry.
