Job Summary
Position for Distribution Specialist (fmcg)
Job Description
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
• Knowledge and skill of business strategy formulation. Understand how to align business processes and design to support strategy implementation.
• Facilitate organisational change to achieve forecasted efficiencies and productivity
• Ensure optimal Distribution Fleet Mix maintained
• Identify and source trucks models/trailer types aligned to Fleet Mix requirements.
• Develop dynamic, value driven plans, delivering targeted results in line with strategy and provide the
business with the appropriate products and services at the right time, place and cost
• Responsible for ensuring standardisation of all Distribution processes across the business, monitored
through Operational and ISO audits
• Accountable for driving Distribution excellence through continuous process and system development.
• Assist in Distribution outputs, including budget setting
• Promote good corporate governance through ICC controls
• Custodian of all SAP DSD related processes and changes.
• Ensure appropriate processes in place to manage risk across Distribution activities, including cash handling
and gate security
• Manage Abnormal Maintenance of Distribution Assets: Delivery Vehicles.
