Position for Boiler Training Officer
Job Description
Introduction
The primary purpose of this position will be to prepare and provide training materials and courses on the operation, maintenance and management of shell boilers and boiler ancillaries. (Manufacturing) Bellville.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ï‚· Be presentable and well-spoken
ï‚· Keep abreast with JT products and developments
ï‚· Compile training materials and insure that they remain relevant.
ï‚· Market and sell training courses
ï‚· Present training courses and evaluate trainees attending our boiler courses
ï‚· Identify training needs of boiler users
ï‚· Ensure that all BDTC equipment and buildings are maintained and kept clean.
KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
ï‚· Technical qualification (N3 or N4) electrical or mechanical.
ï‚· Good boiler knowledge with at least five years in Boiler Operation and Maintenance environment
ï‚· Computer literacy i.e. Microsoft Office.
ï‚· Fluent in at least two national languages, a third national language will be an advantage
 Must have a valid driver’s licence
ï‚· Be prepared to travel locally and across borders for extended periods of time.
