Position for Architectural Draughtsman
Job Description
UK Architectural Company based in Cape Town in need of a Draughtsman / Designer. The primary responsibilities of this position are to design, develop and maintain in meeting the client’s expectations by producing high quality plans for tenders and various clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 – 5 years’ experience with the following:
Responsibility:
•Producing of architectural drawings including site plans, floor plan
layouts, schedules and construction details.
• Interior & Special Design
• Building Design
• Design change requirements
• Captured 2D drawings in a 3D environment
• 3D Printing & 3D Modelling
• Manage and prioritize drawings for projects
• Reading of architectural drawings
• Liaising with Architect and Project Manager
• Have strong technical & commercial abilities
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner and be a company ambassador who displays the company values when dealing with clients.
Qualifications:
Matric.
Suitable candidates will have a Draughting Certificate / Diploma coupled with at least 4 - 5 years’ experience in draughting and detailing using Revit. Proficiency in Revit is a prerequisite.
Design Programs:
AutoCad, Revit & Caddie
SOLID WORKS and Autodesk Inventor experience would count in you favor.
