Position for Aircon / Refrigeration Technician R25 – R20 000 Neg
Job Description
Well known HVAC & Engineering Company in Milnerton has a vacancy for an Aircon / Refrigeration Technician. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 – 8 years’ experience within this industry. The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
Perform on-site installations, repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance on client premises with Industrial & commercial HVAC Units
Installing and replacing components or entire systems.
Maintenance or upgrades on out of season equipment.
Performance checks on Air Conditioning units
Sound knowledge in comprehending customer requirements, diagnosing technical problems, determining proper solutions and making appropriate recommendations .
Attending site meetings and liaising with Contractors on site
Compiling reports on all servicing and maintenance work done
Extensive experience with HVAC Systems and good knowledge on Chillers, VRF and VRV Units.
Requirements:
Matric
Valid driver’s license essential.
It will be advantageous to have the following:
N2 Refrigeration, Trade Theory & Engineering Science .
Trade Tested in air conditioning and refrigeration
Refrigeration Gas Practitioner
S.H.E. Representative (Health & Safety Representative)
