Position for Air Conditioner Technician
Job Description
Position:Air conditioner Technician.
Region: Johannesburg North.
Salary: Cost to Company R12 000 to R15 000 (Medical aid and Provident fund 10% contributions included)
Annual leave 15 day
Primary Functions:
· Installation of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and Refrigeration units, including electronic and mechanical components
· Installation of HVAC ductwork including flexible tubing and
· Install or repair electrical connections to HVAC components.
· Diagnose electronic, electro-mechanical, electrical, and mechanical malfunctions
· Make complex emergency repairs
· Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, schematics, diagrams, sketches, and specifications
· Learn characteristics of new systems and equipment of the heating and air conditioning trade and update skills to adapt to changing technology
Requirements for the position:
· Matric essential, further diploma/certificate advantageous.
· Energetic, motivated, a “self-starter†with initiative to plan own work, but also a team player
· Very good people skills.
· Outgoing and confident, self-disciplined, organised.
· Experience Aircon Technician pre-requisite, preferably 3-4 years.
· Good communication skills
· Company communications are in English
· Relevant experience and good references are essential.
